Ebie Adkins is an award-winning actress from eastern Kentucky with a passion for making stories with redeeming qualities come to life. Ebie earned a Ph.D. in Communication from Regent University in 2018 and has received training from Thompson Approach Mastermind for Actors since 2022. In addition to acting, Ebie is a producer, public speaker, podcast host, songwriter, and voiceover artist. Ebie was given her first acting/production credit for M30 OXY (2022) and has since played both supporting and lead roles. She has also worked in several industrial projects. Ebie is the lead actor and producer in a faith-based streaming series titled GONE produced by ECHO TV.

Raised in Stockton, California, Nakia's love of the performing arts began at an early age. While attending high school, Nakia auditioned for UCLA's prestigious theater department, and out of 50 applicants was the only African American female freshman accepted that year. She booked her first role as a series regular on the hit kids' TV show Power Rangers Zeo and Power Rangers Turbo, as the Yellow Power Ranger Tanya Sloan for 75 episodes and a feature film. She can also be seen in numerous commercials, print ads and television shows over the course of her 30+ year career, including her current recurring role as Angela Macklin on Nickelodeon's popular kids' TV show Dangerforce. In 2012 Nakia launched Sovereignty Entertainment Inc., a production company dedicated to producing family-friendly television, web series, and films. In 2015 she created, co-wrote, and produced 2 seasons of the single camera comedy, Life After Saving the World, which was loosely based on her life. This series won the Empire Award in the New York Screenplay Contest and placed in the LAIFFA Independent Film Festival, and has just received a distribution deal.In 2020 Nakia and Cat launched their YouTube channel, Power Rangers Playback, exploring past Power Rangers episodes with commentary, nostalgia, game show trivia, comedy skits, and much more. Her 2021 podcast series, Super Chat with Cat and Nakia, allows Nakia to share her life experiences where she brings her 10 years of insight as a community leader and role model to her listeners, while challenging them to find their truths. She followed that with the upcoming independent feature, SHE DANCES, starring opposite Ethan Hawke, Steve Zahn and Rosemarie DeWitt. The film premiered at the 2025 Tribecca Film Festival. She followed that with a lead role in the Amazon Feature Film, SARAH’S OIL, opposite Zachary Levi. On stage, Sonequa is best known for her critically acclaimed performances in Des McAnuff’s FETCH CLAY, MAKE MAN, where she starred as Muhammad Ali's first wife, ‘Sonji Clay.’ She also starred in Off-Broadway’s OUTSIDE PEOPLE at New York City’s Vineyard Theatre.
