Women of God

 Woman of God, you have an enemy – the same enemy Eve faced – but you don’t have to make the same mistake. God is not your enemy! Satan is your enemy and his plan is to use your influence for destruction in the lives of those within your area of influence. If he can convince you that you don’t measure up and that you can’t do anything about your circumstances and if he can establish a stronghold of self-pity, guilt and condemnation and if he can convince you that not even God loves you, he can hold you in bondage to self-destructive, thought patterns. If you have children, they will suffer the consequences of your thoughts, behavior and decisions or the rewards of your good choices.

God wants you to take responsibility for your life; He wants you to make wise choices. Satan wants you to continue the blame game—blaming other people for your mistakes and failures. God wants you to succeed and enjoy the more abundant life. Satan wants you to maintain a victim mentality; God wants you to be a victorious woman – more than a conqueror. Satan wants you to fail and struggle all your life. God wants to set you on a high place of success. Satan wants to hold you in the miry clay of selfishness, self-centeredness, fear, anger, unforgiveness, resentment, manipulation and depression. Which will you choose? Who will you worship? Who will you seek to please? Who do you desire? Who will you serve? Who is your first love?

*  Sarah Sanders

Sarah Huckabee Sanders served as White House Press Secretary for President Donald J. Trump from 2017 to 2019. A trusted confidante of the President, Sarah advised him on everything from press and communications strategy to personnel and policy. For two and a half years, Sarah was at the President’s side, battling with the media, working with lawmakers and CEOs, and accompanying the president on every foreign trip, including dozens of meetings with foreign leaders. Sarah is only the third woman – and the very first mom – to ever hold the job of White House Press Secretary.

Upon her departure from the administration, President Trump described Sarah as “irreplaceable,” a “warrior” and “very special person with extraordinary talents, who has done an incredible job.”

An early supporter of President Trump, Sarah joined the Trump campaign as a senior advisor in February 2016 during the Republican primary, and continued in that role through the President’s defeat of Hillary Clinton, one of the greatest and most unexpected victories in American history. *  Sadie Robertson

Sadie Robertson arrived at a crossroads. Fresh off a runner-up finish on Season 19 of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars, the then-17-year-old saw her life swirling into a bubble of fame and glitz and paparazzi; it was fun, yes, but also she recalls, a decidedly non-normal and uncomfortable existence. “People looked at me differently,” the Louisiana native first introduced to the world as a star of A&E’s Duck Dynasty, says. “I wasn’t sure I liked the fame. I don’t see myself like that.” A devoted woman of strong Christian faith, Robertson wanted to use this opportunity to make an impact on the world.

“My passion is to speak, to write, to encourage,” Robertson says proudly. And with more than 5 million followers on her various social platforms, the young woman saw she had a direct line of communication to her peers. Specifically, she recognized she could be positive voice to those in dire need of an inspiring, non-judgmental presence in their lives. Now, in only a few years, she’s become one of the most prominent voices of her generation. Whether as an author or motivational speaker, the 21-year-old speaks with profound grace and clarity. Last year, the author of the New York Times best-seller Live Original: How the Duck Commander Teen Keeps It Real and Stays True to Her Values embarked on a 16-city “Live Original Tour,” where she met thousands of teens and their families and spread her message of self-confidence and positivity. This fall, she’ll be back on the road for another sure-to-be inspiring tour.

Robertson says she’s fully embraced her role as a beacon of light in an oft-dark world. What her peers need right now, Robertson says, “is someone they can relate to and be encouraged by. Basically to be a sister they didn’t have or a friend they need.” She points to the overwhelming swell of support following her 2015 YouTube video — recorded “just out of the shower and with pajamas and no makeup on” during which she speaks her truth of the destructive nature of jealousy and the power of God. *  Arlene Spenceley

I am a 33-year-old virgin. I dated a dude once who didn’t want me to be, who hoped I’d forego the virtue of chastity. I didn’t. But I did explain why in an essay I wrote for the Tampa Bay Times.

What I wrote struck chords and nerves. The public’s response to it resulted in this blog; in my book, Chastity is For Lovers: Single, Happy, and (Still) a Virgin (Ave Maria Press, 2014); and my giving keynote chastity talks to audiences of lots of ages in places like churches and bars.

On this site, my personal blog, you’ll find posts designed to encourage critical thought about relationships and sex; to encourage readers who practice chastity; to provide insight into an alternative way of life for the readers who don’t; and to explore how American culture impacts Christianity.
