Born in the jungles of Peru to missionary parents, Paula’s beginning in life was anything but typical. Raped at the age of 5, Paula was caught in a cycle of damage and abuse which lasted into her thirties. From sexual abuse to later mental, emotional and even spiritual abuse, Paula developed a victim mentality, which fueled decades of continued abuse.
Broken beyond endurance, Paula cried out to God for help. He miraculously intervened, faithfully walking with her through a dramatic healing process. She knows, from personal experience, the healing, deliverance, and hope that only God can bring.
As an ex-victim, Paula’s passion to help others resulted in her writing Bloom in the Dark: True Stories of Hope and Redemption, a compilation of true stories shared by women who have walked through personal darkness and abuse. Each story tells how God met, healed, and restored an ex-victim. Readers discover that they are not alone. Lasting healing is possible!
Loving Forward in Faith After Loss
"'For better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish till death do us part.' It was both my greatest honor and my greatest heartache to live my wedding vows... to fulfill them. But I never imagined I would do so at 29 years old after only three years of marriage.”
As a widow and single mother, Alexandra Hope Craig understands the pain of loss and the struggle to find hope in the midst of heartache. She knows firsthand the devastating impact of a terminal cancer diagnosis and the difficulty of navigating grief while rebuilding a life and raising a young child.
But through her journey, she and her family experienced the goodness and faithfulness of God in a profound way. Now, she is dedicated to sharing that message of hope and healing. In particular, she encourages others to trust their grief and heartache in God’s hands with the knowledge that He is faithful to trade beauty for ashes.
As a speaker and through her social media presence, Alexandra testifies how God has graciously held her while on this journey. She believes hope in Christ is the antidote to despair, and she passionately spreads the message that every heart can be transformed by the love and grace of the Lord, even when God answers prayers prayed through tears and sobs in ways we do not understand.
“One of my prayers when we first discovered John's illness was that I would have the strength and grace to say, 'It is well with my soul' regardless of the outcome. And with all sincerity and because of God's faithfulness, I can say just that... it is well with my soul. It brings me great joy to tell of the restorative power of Jesus. And it is my hope that the insight God has shown me in this process will bring comfort to hurting hearts as He draws them toward Himself.”
Alexandra delivers messages of resilience and courage that are grounded in the truth of God's Word. Drawing on her own experiences and the wisdom of the Bible, she inspires listeners to embrace their challenges and trust in God's plan for their lives.
Whether you are struggling with personal challenges, grief, or loss, or simply seeking to deepen your faith and relationship with God, Alexandra's powerful messages of hope and healing will touch your heart and inspire you to live a life filled with purpose, joy, and grace.

Woman of God, you have an enemy – the same enemy Eve faced – but you don’t have to make the same mistake. God is not your enemy! Satan is your enemy, and his plan is to use your influence for destruction in the lives of those within your area of influence. If he can convince you that you don’t measure up and that you can’t do anything about your circumstances and if he can establish a stronghold of self-pity, guilt and condemnation and if he can convince you that not even God loves you, he can hold you in bondage to self-destructive, thought patterns. If you have children, they will suffer the consequences of your thoughts, behavior and decisions or the rewards of your good choices.
God wants you to take responsibility for your life; He wants you to make wise choices. Satan wants you to continue the blame game—blaming other people for your mistakes and failures. God wants you to succeed and enjoy the more abundant life. Satan wants you to maintain a victim mentality; God wants you to be a victorious woman – more than a conqueror. Satan wants you to fail and struggle all your life. God wants to set you on a high place of success. Satan wants to hold you in the miry clay of selfishness, self-centeredness, fear, anger, unforgiveness, resentment, manipulation and depression. Which will you choose? Who will you worship? Who will you seek to please? Who do you desire? Who will you serve? Who is your first love?
