Daily Morning Light was created with a simple mission: to share God’s love with children through joyful, colorful, and easy-to-understand Bible messages. What started as a small creative idea quickly grew into a bright and encouraging space filled with kid-friendly characters, uplifting scriptures, and faith-based storytelling designed to inspire young hearts. The creative vision behind Daily Morning Light blends classic cartoon style, vibrant visuals, and positive biblical truths to help children connect with God in a fun and meaningful way. Each post is thoughtfully designed to teach kindness, hope, trust, and love through engaging imagery and simple messages kids can understand and remember. Through creativity, storytelling, and faith, Daily Morning Light continues to grow as a welcoming place where children and families can be encouraged daily. The goal is to shine God’s light, inspire joy, and help the next generation learn that Jesus loves them and walks with them every day. “Shine Bright, it’s Daily Morning Light.”

I have illustrated over 170 published children's books. I began as a political cartoonist in Chicago in 1983, and transitioned into  children's book illustration in 2009. Smartest move of my life.
